The Server is very unique as it has heart shaped handles. I can't wait to use it to cut our wedding cake and for years to come! Top 10 Trends for your 2010 Wedding

Here are the Top 10 Trends for 2010 from getmarried.com

. Visual Combinations- They can shoot video and take stills all with the same equipment- Awesome!

9. HD Video
- HD is the new era!

8. Video Integration into Events
- "We’ve all seen the photo montages of your childhoods during dinner but the next phase in video at your event comes in several different forms. Video DJ’s are immerging, allowing your dance party to dance to the visuals of the music videos; ceremonies are being broadcast on screens for better viewing from the back; and time lapse photography is being shot and integrated into video for current day montages of you and your fiancé. Love to party? Set up crane camera and project the event as it unfolds on screens around the dance floor (budget permitting of course). " Awesome- never heard about Video DJ's before!

7. Greener Conscience
- Eco- friendly.

6. Colors
- Black is back!

5. Nearby Destinations
- I think this is important, as the economy is hurting, it gets pricey to attend destination weddings. You need to consider all your guests!

4. Favor Comeback
- Everyone loves getting something in return!

3. Buttercream on the Big Day
- I am a big fan of buttercream already- I am ahead of the trend =)

2. Home Weddings Hit Home
- Smaller size weddings, this will save you some money as well!

1. Back to Basics -
Invest more in Video, than on flowers. I agree!

magic pumpkin art review and giveaway

Have you been looking for unique wall art for your child's room? magic pumpkin art has the solution. magic pumpkin art offers delightful and unique kid's wall decor. Each art print is a substantial gallery wrapped cotton canvas carefully mounted using museum quality methods. The art is inspired by a small child and has been known to stand up to rigorous critique of a 3 year old.

From adventurous safari prints to wall art for the sports enthusiast or a girl's room
design, they have it all. They have 20 different prints to choose from. The safari adventure prints have wonderful slogans for kids. My favorite is "A jaguar knows reading a book is cool on a hot day."I was so happy when magic pumpkin art sent me the Hibiscus Photo Personalized Kid's Girl's Theme Wall Art and Nursery Decor.

I thought this would make an AWESOME gift for my flower girl. They will even customize their prints with your child's name FREE. I am so impressed at the vivid colors on the canvas. All their images are very stimulating for children.

The canvas is stretched and mounted over a wooden frame and there is a hook in the back to hang on the wall. No framing is needed. The print is 12'' x 12'' and weighs less than a pound. You can place a 4x6 picture in the frame for a more personalized effect. I love how easy it is to change the picture out, your kids can even change the pictures themselves. I am planning on putting a picture of my flower girl and myself when I give her the frame. After the wedding, she will be able to put in a picture of herself as the flower girl.

Is your child a sports fan- check out all the great Sports Designs. You can order them with or without a photo.

Now that you are all excited, I have better news. One of my lucky readers will win their favorite 12'' x 12'' canvas. This giveaway is open to all readers in the US and Canada.

Almost Diamonds Review and Giveaway

Don't get me wrong I love my diamond engagement ring, but there are some times that I just don't feel like wearing it. Not like that- like on vacation or while at the beach or even during my morning jogs. I still want to wear a ring though. I found the perfect solution- a ring from Almost Diamonds. They offer great Cubic Zirconia jewelry. They have engagement rings as well as wedding bands. Did I mention how affordable all their jewelry is? They have many wedding ring sets under $50. Yes- Five Zero. I was so happy when Almost Diamonds sent me this gorgeous wedding ring set.

The quality and clarity is much more than I expected and the picture doesn't do it justice. I have got tons of compliments the last few days on how gorgeous the "diamond" is. The wedding band is great as well and I love how perfect the set goes together. The rings are sterling silver with a rhodium finish. The CZ's are along the top of the ring with a brilliant center. It is a very classy ring and I feel very comfortable wearing it.

I know you all want this ring too and Almost Diamonds is offering one of my readers this beautiful set as well. Take a look around their site and let me know what item you love! Then come back here and leave a comment. This question must be answered to gain an entry in the giveaway. Each of the following will give you one extra entry in the giveaway. Wedding Thank You Notes

For every occasion it is appropriate to send a personal thank you note. Thanking someone in person is still great, but should be followed up with a thank you note as well. From engagement gifts to bridal shower presents and of course wedding gifts- a separate thank you note should be sent for each. Also remember to always send thank you notes to friends and relatives who arrange your parties.

Engagement and Bridal Shower Thank You's should be sent within 10 days of receiving a gift. If you receive a wedding gift in advance of the wedding, you should send the Thank You within a few days. Wedding Thank You's should be sent within two weeks after returning from your honeymoon.

Here are a couple of MUST when it comes to sending Thank You's!

-Make sure to address the gift sender: ex. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Do not just start writing Thank you for your gift.

-Never use Pre-Printed Thank You's. There is nothing better than a handwritten personalized note.

-Let your guest know how much you appreciated the gift and how it will be cherished for years to come.

-Remember to say: "We love the beautiful", not "I Love". You are a couple now and there will not be much use for I-exception would be for bridal shower gifts.

-Using a Dark Blue or Black pen is best and makes it easily readable.

You can make writing Thank You's fun by listening to wedding songs while you write. Hopefully you and your fiancee can each share in the fun. Enjoy!

Tuxedo to Rent or Buy

Wedding season is here and I have been seeing more black tie wedding invitations. Now, for the man in your life- should he RENT or BUY a tuxedo?

Many men have probably rented a tuxedo at least once in their lives, which was most likely for their high school prom. Back in high school it was a better option to RENT a tuxedo because they were still growing. Your man was picking out a tuxedo for a party and possibly even to match his date, not for practical purposes.

Here is a what you should think about before you make your next decision:
Renting vs. Buying

First off, if you have the occasion to wear a tuxedo at least twice a year, then economically you would benefit from purchasing a classically styled, quality designer tuxedo. It is best to go with the classic style so you can use it for many years. If your guy prefers to wear the newest designs then naturally renting would be the best choose.

Now, I am sure you are wondering about the cost difference. In the past, renting a tuxedo would cost about $150-$180 depending on what style you choose. This cost would include everything you need- including the shoes. The cost to buy would be about 2-3 times the cost to rent. In 2 years the tuxedo would pay for itself.

Make sure you select a reputable formal wear specialist for your big day.
A formalwear specialist is a shop that specializes in men’s formal wear as their main business. Check out the great tuxedo from Men's Wearhouse in the picture above! Enjoy!
