Celebrity Wedding

Robin Williams got married last Sunday to graphic designer Susan Schneider at the luxe Meadowood Resort in the Napa Valley town of St. Helena.

This is Williams third marriage. They had an intimate ceremony with over 100 people and now are honeymooning in Paris.

The bride wore a strapless, champagne-and-white gown with a dropped waist gown.

As for table seatings: Guests were given VIP-style lanyards to wear around their necks instead of traditional table cards.

The stars were out at the wedding, including: Billy Crystal, George Lucas and Barry Levinson.

Is it odd I still think of him as Mrs. Doubtfire ?? Enjoy!

Former Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas finally tied the knot with Stephen Stagliano Saturday night in Georgia. It was a gorgeous Fall wedding.

Deanna wore a strapless Alfred Angelo Disney princess-inspired wedding dress with a birdcage veil and cowboy boots. She carried a bouquet of orange calla lilies. Look how pretty the bridesmaid dresses are.

For all you Bachelorette fans, you will remember Stephen's brother Michael was in Deanna's season. Michael was engaged to Holly Durst at one point as well. The four were friends and now Michael and Holly are not engaged and Holly is engaged to Blake Julian. How awkward is it that Deanna is married to Stephen and not Michael. They are TWINS!!!

I love Bachelorette weddings- so I wish them the best!!

Celebrity Wedding

“Twilight” star Nikki Reed married “American Idol” contestant Paul McDonald in Malibu last Sunday.

They were married on a ranch in front of 100 of their friends and family. The groom and his band The Grand Magnolias performed at the wedding along with other American Idol contestants.

Reed and McDonald met in April this year and were engaged by June. They move fast, but lets hope the marriage moves slow and steady..Enjoy!

Celebrity Engagement

Kim Zolciak from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is engaged to Kroy Biermann. They got engaged last week and have already set a wedding date of 11/11/11. Very cool!!

The couple will marry in Georgia and the wedding will be filmed for a future episode of RH. The wedding will be planned by Colin Cowie.

The dress code for the nuptials is “black tie glamorous” and no cell phones or cameras will be allowed.

The couple have a son together. I love RH weddings!

Engagement Party Places

When planning an engagement party, find a unique place that fits you both. Don't think big venues and catering halls. Parks, parent's homes, favorite restaurants and even the beach would be great locations and can keep you within budget.

Parks/Beaches- FREE(usually) and you can bring your own catering for the event. Plan it during a nice time of year. In Florida, the winter would be the best!

Parent's home- You need to keep your guest list in check, but gives a great family feel. Guests can come and go between certain hours.

Favorite Restaurant- You can rent out your favorite place and share it with your close friends and family. You can also look into Family style restaurants which will offer greater cost savings. Have a Sunday Brunch to save even more.

The Jewish wedding ceremony took place atop the winery’s Boot Hill surrounded by vineyards and a grove of oak trees. The couple said their vows under a chuppah covered with white hydrangeas and greenery.

The couple drove away in a classic Chevy convertible.

Bridal Shows

Have you been to a Bridal Expo?

Well, I have been to MANY and in all different locations. Here are some tips to make the best of Bridal Shows.

1- Bring your own name tags. Ok, so each vendor has a giveaway box and you drop your "card" in each for a chance to win a prize. If you don't bring your own name tags "cards", then you need to fill out an entry at each and this is VERY time consuming. Just print your name, address, email, wedding date and print at least 50 labels to bring with you.

2- Don't get there EARLY, but stay til the END. The best giveaways are usually at the end of the SHOW and if you get there early you have to deal with the long lines to enter.

3- Only talk with the vendors that you need to. Don't waste your time. If you already booked your band, Don't stop at the DJ and Band vendor booths. They will take your info and start sending you tons of mail(mostly emails) with specials. Wasting their time and yours.

4- Get GOODIES. Yup, you will leave with TONS of goodies. Usually Pens, mugs, candy, bridal magazines, etc. The best I have got was Cuisinart measuring spoons, picture frames, tote bags and even nail polish!! Take, Take, Take- I love goodies and they are FREE.

5- Have Fun. There will usually be cake, candy and other desserts for you to try. Even Liquor!!

Celebrity Engagement

Elizabeth Hurley got engaged to Shane Warne. Warne is a Austrian cricket star and Hurley is a mega movie star. They both have been married prior. They have been dating less than a year. A little soon to be engaged already.

Warne proposed with a sapphire and diamond engagement ring at the Old Course Hotel in Scotland. The ring has a large square center stone and is flanked by diamonds on each side.
