Saturday Movie Review: To Rent or Not to Rent

This week I got "Morning Glory" from the library. This was a romantic comedy and had some great actors.

Morning Glory is about the dysfunctional world of morning television. When hard-working TV producer Becky Fuller ( Rachel McAdams) thinks she is getting a promotion, but ends up getting fired from her local news program job, she is shocked. She hasn't had luck in love either and is determined to change her life around. She gets ONE call back from the lowest ranked morning show called "Daybreak." Becky brings in legendary talent Mike Pomeroy ( Harrison Ford) and makes the show a Hit. Mike anchors alongside Colleen Peck (Diane Keaton), who he does not get along with. As the show is getting better reviews, Becky's love life is blooming too when she gets together with Adam Bennett (Patrick Wilson). Becky's boss Jerry Barnes (Jeff Goldblum) is ready to pull the plug on the morning show at the same time Becky gets an interview for her dream job at The Today Show. Becky goes with her heart and stays on "Daybreak" and rebuilds her relationship with Adam for a Happy Ending to this romantic comedy. I recommend this one, my husband enjoyed too...Enjoy!
