Now that you know when to get your alterations, what should you bring to your first appointment? You need more than your dress. Bring your shoes, undergarments(bras and slips)and any accessories. You want to see the full picture at your fitting to make the most of each appointment.
Shoes- make sure you bring shoes that are the same height as the ones you are wearing on your big day. Getting the length is key and you don't want the alterations to come out too short or too long.
Slip and Bra- This will show you properly how the dress will lay once it is on. If you are planning to wear Spanx, then put them on for your fitting. Have fun...Enjoy!
