Celebrity Wedding

On Friday, Kelsey Grammer got married to Kayte Walsh. Kelsey just recently got divorced from
Camille Grammer earlier this month. He moved fast! Check out when I announced their engagement.

They got married at NYC's Longacre Theater, where he just wrapped his Tony nominated run in the Broadway musical La Cage Aux Folles. First-time bride Walsh wore a long, satin and chiffon gown by Peter Langer for Mark Ingram.

Kelsey had all his kids by his side except for his youngest daughter Mason. They had their reception at the Plaza Hotel. Enjoy!

Saturday Movie Review: To Rent or Not to Rent

Guess what I picked up this week at the library...TOY STORY 3!!!

The gang is back...Tom Hanks is back as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear. This movie is great, but in my opinion not suitable for little kids. My husband and I watched it just the two of us.


Toy Story 3 has more adventures for the gang as Andy is ready to head off to college and needs to decide if he is bringing any of his toys with him. The toys end up getting donated by accident and find themselves locked in a day care. Of course there are TONS of other toys, but they have their own "gangs" as well. The head master of the toys is Lotso, with Ken as his right hand man.


At first it looks like a great place for the toys to be played with, but the toys get a big surprise. Throughout the adventure there are really happy times and really sad times. Pixar created a great movie and shows in the end how important your imagination can be and to never forget your childhood memories.

Worth watching and you should be able to get it from you library and not have to wait too long as it has been out now for some time. We loved the movie, and cried too, but I am still having nightmares about Lotso- He is NOT CUTE!! =) ..Enjoy!

Borders: Closing 200 stores

Borders is closing over 200 stores and has started some clearance deals up to 75% off. I don't have
a store too close to me, but my friend was in yesterday and saw a few good deals on books. Worth taking a look, or you can wait til the stores are closer to closing- end of April.

Celebrity Engagement

It seems like everyone is getting engaged these days. I recently had 3 really good friends all get engaged around Valentine's Day.

Last Wednesday at New York Fashion Week, Angelina Pivarnick got engaged to boyfriend David Kovacs. He proposed with a 2.5 carat platinum ring in front of cameras. They have only been dating a few months.

WOW- lets see if this one lasts for her. I am a BIG JERSEY FAN. She is not currently on season 3 as she left the show last season.

Kate Moss is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Jamie Hince. Jamie is the guitarist for Kills. Jamie proposed last week with a vintage 1920's ring. The couple is planning a summer wedding. Kate’s eight-year-old daughter, Lila, will serve as a bridesmaid.

Jamie and Kate have been dating since 2007 and were introduced by Sadie Frost. Any they say the best way to meet your husband is from a mutual friend.

Saturday Movie Review: To Rent or Not to Rent

This week I got "Going The Distance" from the library. I am a big Drew Barrymore, so I was excited to see this one.

Garrett (Justin Long) is newly single and meets Erin (Barrymore) while out for drinks with his buddies. The have chemistry instantly and have a nice summer-fling. Can they handle the distance once Erin's summer internship ends in New York City and heads back home to San Francisco? Garrett lives with his roommate, who is HILARIOUS. Erin lives at home with her sister Corinne (Christina Applegate) and when Garrett comes to visit it makes for an interesting trip. The movie had many laughs and my husband said it was a great pick.

The movie is great, especially if you have ever experienced a long distance relationship. Two Thumbs up- go rent this one tonight..Enjoy!
