I stopped in to Publix tonight and was happy to see they had 3 new deals this week.
I had a coupon for $1 off each of the Buy Their Products- so this made the deal even better. When I checked out, the register did not automatically take off the FREE Publix items, the cashier had to manually discount them. So a heads up to watch your receipt! Enjoy!

T.G.I. Fridays 1 Cent Appetizer & $1 Entree UPDATE

Has everyone signed up by now for the FRIDAYS Give Me More Stripes Reward Program. Well I hope your answer is YES. I have gone 3 times now and I am IN LOVE with all the appetizers. Look how empty the bar area was today! My fiancee and I went for lunch today and we were the only people at the Bar area. The $0.01 Appetizer deal works at the high top bar tables as well. We each bought a drink and were able to use 2 $0.01 appetizer coupons. We got 2 drinks and the Buffalo Wings and Nachos all for $5.74 (our subtotal was $22.77 before coupons). What a deal. Who can beat that, and since we were the only customers our waiter had- we got tip top service. The coupon is good through 4/30/09, so you still have time to score this great deal. The waiter told us not to keep printing the coupon, as you can use the same coupon over and over (since the coupon says "per visit").I would love to hear if you used your coupons yet. Enjoy!

Nikon- How to Look Good in Pictures

There is a great new website on how to look good in pictures. I am a big picture fan, and I use a Nikon D40. I am still in the learning stages of taking great pictures. This series is great, I listened to about 6 of the videos and feel like I need to get out and practice my picture skills.

Here is a great video on taking pictures of newborns.

There is also a great video on tips from celebrity's from the red carpet.
Some advise:
-Mix up your photo poses
-Imagine funny things
-Carry your outfit well - wear something you love

Here are a few tips I picked up for wedding day photos:
-Practice in your dress
-Be comfortable in your shoes (Bring a second pair for dancing)
-Hire a makeup professional-This is KEY for your big day, and make sure you do a practice session before hand.
-To avoid having your eyes shut in photos: Close your eyes and count to 3- then open!!
-Waterproof mascara is best for your BIG day.
