Nikon- How to Look Good in Pictures

There is a great new website on how to look good in pictures. I am a big picture fan, and I use a Nikon D40. I am still in the learning stages of taking great pictures. This series is great, I listened to about 6 of the videos and feel like I need to get out and practice my picture skills.

Here is a great video on taking pictures of newborns.

There is also a great video on tips from celebrity's from the red carpet.
Some advise:
-Mix up your photo poses
-Imagine funny things
-Carry your outfit well - wear something you love

Here are a few tips I picked up for wedding day photos:
-Practice in your dress
-Be comfortable in your shoes (Bring a second pair for dancing)
-Hire a makeup professional-This is KEY for your big day, and make sure you do a practice session before hand.
-To avoid having your eyes shut in photos: Close your eyes and count to 3- then open!!
-Waterproof mascara is best for your BIG day.
