Remember the Spice Girls. WOW, I am dating myself now. Well "Baby Spice" Emma Bunton got engaged to her boyfriend of 10 years, Jade Jones. Jones proposed on Bunton’s 35th birthday. Sounds like the new trend is proposing on birthdays.

Bunton and Jones have a three-year-old son and they are expecting their second child in May. Congrats to them..Enjoy!

Saturday Movie Reviwe: To Rent or Not to Rent

This week I got Wall Street Money Never Sleeps from the library. Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas) is back for another round after his 15 years in prison. Jacob Moore (Shia LeBeouf) is the new main character who is making the big bucks. Shia was good, but not very believable that he is earning $1.5 million and living in a $6 million apartment. Turns out he is dating Gordon Gekko's daughter, Winney. Winney wants nothing to do with her father, but Jacob is looking to change that. Moral of the story is people never change. Spoiler: Winney has a "trust fund" overseas, and Jacob helps get her the money, only to have it taken back by Gordon. The movie does have a happy ending.

Wall Street Money Never Sleeps was not as good as the first movie, but it does depict the horrible events of Wall Street and the money crisis quiet well. Worth renting, but make sure you watch Wall Street first. Enjoy!

Celebrity Engagement

Celebrities are getting engaged way too soon after a divorce, first it was Kelsey Grammer and now Jesse James joins the list.


Jesse James and Kat Von D started dating last summer and his split from Sandra Bullock. He proposed over the weekend to Kat with a 4 carat ring from Neil Lane. Now, I don't know who has more tattoos, but this couple sure is wild. I can't even image what their wedding would be like. No wedding date has been set.



On a happier note, Jodie Sweetin(Stephanie on FULL HOUSE) got engaged during her 29th birthday bash last week. She has been dating Morty Coyle for the past two years and they have a daughter together. Enjoy!

My $1 Deal

I am the girl who looses earring backs all the time. Luckily I don't lose my earrings, but the backs are always getting lost.

I was down to my last two backs out of ALL MY EARRINGS. Yes, I lost a lot of earring backs.

I decided to go to Claire's to see if they sell just earring backs. Of course they do, they sell 10 backs for $5.95. Now that is a lot of money for something I loose all the time!!

I started to think outside the box and noticed they had tons of clearance earrings- mostly holiday collection, but all the earrings come with backs. I found a pack of 3 pairs of earrings and each pair had two pairs of earring backs, except for one pair. The metal ones along with the plastic backs. So 3 pairs of earrings with 10 earring backs on clearance for $1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now all of you can see the deal in this one. What a BARGAIN and the earrings I can wear next holiday season. If you need some new earring backs or just want some cute holiday earrings for next year- head into Claire's for a great deal..Enjoy!

Saturday Movie Review: To Rent or Not to Rent

This week I got Easy A from the library. My husband watched it with me and we both enjoyed!

Emma Stone is fabulous and her enemy in the movie is Amanda Bynes. Both girls are great in high school movies. It reminded me of Mean Girls.

Not sure if you read the Scarlet Letter or just the cliff notes, but Emma started a rumor about herself. She is a clean cut high school student and uses the rumor mill to advance her social standings. She is the new "IT" girl. Emma makes some extra cash on the side by fibbing about her experiences. She documents it on the internet to share what "actually" happened. There are some great lines and Emma really is funny.

Celebrity Engagement

Prince William and Kate Middleton have less than four months to go before their April 29 wedding. Last Wednesday details on their wedding were released.

Their ceremony will be at Westminster Abbey officiated by three different clergymen: the Dean of Westminster will conduct the service, the Archbishop of Canterbury will preside over the vows, and the Bishop of London will give the address.

The ceremony will be followed by a private dinner and dance at Buckingham Palace for close friends and family hosted by the Prince of Wales.

The couple have been dating for nine years after meeting as students at St Andrews University. Security is already planning for the wedding- this one is going to be big. Enjoy!

Saturday Movie Review: To Rent or Not to Rent

This week finally eclipse came in at the library for me...YEAA!! I am not a big twilight junky, but I do enjoy the movies. I haven't read any of the books yet(I know..I Know)...So you are wondering what I thought of the movie?

I wasn't too impressed. There wasn't as much action in the movie as I thought. Eclipse was more about Jake and Edward fighting over Bella. The ware wolfs and vampires come together in this movie. I wasn't a fan, hope the next one keeps my attention. Not worth renting in my eyes.Enjoy!

It has been a great week for engagements: Two BIG Celebrities got engaged right before the New Year:





Reese Witherspoon got engaged to Jim Toth over the holidays. He proposed with a rare 4-carat Ashoka diamond engagement ring set on a pave band. They have been dating about a year. No wedding date set yet!

Leann Rimes got engaged to Eddie Cibrian. He proposed with an oval shaped 5-carat engagement ring. How exciting for the couple to start the New Year off right.
