Thursday's Wedding Tip #8

Happy Wedding Tip Day. If you missed last week, check it out here.

Tip # 8- Picking a wedding florist might seem difficult, but here are a few tips:

-Bring in pictures of what you like from past weddings you have seen and in magazines
-Many people are allergic to certain flowers- here is a great article to read first
-Make sure you meet with at least 3 different florists
-Get quotes from all 3 and compare
-Have each florist make you a sample centerpiece and get all the details in writing

I was between two different florists choices and when I actually looked at the quote sheet, one florist wanted a $250 delivery fee, where the other did not charge. The company with the fee said she would take off $100, but I still was not satisfied. I went with the other florists and could not have been happier. Enjoy!

  1. Having them make you a sample centerpiece is so important. Make sure you take a picture and give it to your party planner the day of to make sure the centerpieces turn out how they were promised.
