Saturday Movies- To Rent or Not to Rent
Last week I scored New Moon from the library, but this week I scored The Blind Side. I LOVED this movie. I now see why Sandra Bullock won an Oscar for this touching movie. My favorite character was "SJ"- the new little brother of the lineman Michael Oher (Big Mike). This movie was based on a true story and my husband and I both enjoyed. A hit in my book..Enjoy!

Lauren Nicole Gifts Review and Giveaway
As you all know by now, I LOVE personalized gifts. I find them extra special. I was so happy when Lauren Nicole Gifts asked me to review their Hand Stamped Silver & Pearl Necklace.
Isn't it adorable? I have been wearing mine all week and have got many compliments. Pearls are a great gift, especially for weddings. The necklace is light weight and goes with practically everything.
This hand stamped sterling silver bead dome measures 1/2" in diameter and is on top of a 12mm Swarovski Crystal pearl. The dome can be stamped with up to 14 characters and spaces. The Swarovski crystal pearl comes in white, black, light pink, light blue, or dark brown. The stamped bead charm comes on a sterling silver chain. The best part about Lauren Nicole is that each piece of jewelry is hand made to order one piece at a time. Your wedding is one of a kind, why shouldn't your jewelry. This necklace would be the perfect bridesmaid gift. The necklace is simple, yet elegant and of course personalized just for them.
Lauren Nicole gifts has many other great gifts as well. They have different Hand Stamped Necklaces, Ceramics, bookmarks, key chains, as well as personalized wedding and anniversary gifts hand made to order by Lauren Nicole, LLC.

Thursday Wedding Tip # 44
This weeks wedding tip is on: Wedding Vows. My husband and I did not write our own vows, not really sure why, but it was one less thing to worry about.
Below is a sample of a traditional wedding vow:
I, (Groom's Name), take you (Bride's Name) to be my wife, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our friendship and love you today, tomorrow, and forever. I will trust you and honor you I will laugh with you and cry with you. I will love you faithfully Through the best and the worst, Through the difficult and the easy. What may come I will always be there. As I have given you my hand to hold So I give you my life to keep So help me God.
I, (Bride's Name), take you (Groom's Name), to be my husband, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our friendship and love you today, tomorrow, and forever I will trust you and honor you I will laugh with you and cry with you. I will love you faithfully Through the best and the worst, Through the difficult and the easy. What may come I will always be there. As I have given you my hand to hold So I give you my life to keep So help me God.
In unison: Entreat me not to leave you, or to return from following after you, For where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. And where you die, I will die and there I will be buried. May the Lord do with me and more if anything but death parts you from me.
Aww- tears, tears, tears... "You may now kiss the bride"
Here are 3 key steps in writing your own vows:
- Make sure you check with your officiant and confirm what you need to include. There are usually many religions where you need to have certain phrases.
-Take time to write them out and really think about what you love about your partner and add your own touch.
-PRACTICE, Practice, PRACTICE.
I have been to a wedding where the bride was so emotional that she couldn't get her vows out like she wanted to..Of course you are going to be emotional, but the more you practice, the easier the words will come out.
I would love to know if you are planning to write your own wedding vows or using the traditional vows?? Enjoy!

Monday's Healthy Eating and Exercise Tips-Week 3
Healthy Exercise Tip, week 3:
Save your money and work out at home instead of purchasing a gym membership. Make it fun with a circuit workout around your home. If you have stairs in your home, do a workout walking up and down 10 times and keep increasing it. I usually talk on the phone while I walk up and down, the time passes quickly and I like to multi-task. Do a few sit-ups and crunches for good measure. Keep adding different circuits to make it challenging.
*Bonus Tip- Request a FREE "test-drive" at your local gym or take advantage of a FREE week pass. This will get you motivated and seeing what other workouts are out there for you to try at home. You can even look for a resale of gym equipment in your local city if you feel more motivated by the equipment* Enjoy!

Saturday Movies- To Rent or Not to Rent
I have mentioned many times in the past how I score FREE movies from my local library. I am able to keep the movies for 5 day- way better that the Redbox and Blockbuster Express where you only get it for one night.
I tend to put movies on my library card list months in advance, then once the movie comes out on DVD, I am one of the first at the library to score a copy.
Since Saturday night's are the most popular night families rent movies, I figured I would start listing the movies I got from the library this past week and if they are worth watching or not.
This week, I got:
Motherhood
The Informant
Well, first I watched Motherhood and guess what her dog's name is? Coupon- I swear, I was cracking up. And to make the movie even funnier, Uma Thurman's character "blogs"- yep!! For all us bloggers out there, this movie was very cute, especially if you have kids, as she is blogging about her family. Other than that, the movie was just ok. Don't waste your money.
The Informant was very different than I expected. I LOVE Matt Damon in the Bourne movies, but wasn't loving his character that much in The Informant. The movie is a little twisted in the story line, but my Husband did enjoy. Matt is a corporate whistle-blower, but the plot thickens throughout the movie. It is a good movie to compromise on. I'm in!!
Enjoy!

Thursday Wedding Tip # 41 & Giveaway
Have you been looking for the perfect gift for your bridesmaids? Well, The Wedding Outlet has you covered. I was recently sent a cosmetic bag set to review.
Tip # 41 is how to find gifts for your bridal party. The best gifts are personalized and ones your friends can use over and over again. What girl can't use this adorable cosmetic bag set. The set comes with two bags- a square cosmetic tote and a round travel case. The square tote is the perfect size for all your makeup. It even has a removable mirror =)
The round travel case would be the prefect size for your bridal party to keep their wedding makeup in for quick touch-ups. There is even a mirror hooked into the zipper.
You can personalize this cosmetic set with your bridesmaid's single script initial on both pieces in Bright Pink, Apple Green, Aqua, Red or Lavender thread at no additional cost. I choose the bright pink and love how it looks with the polka dots.
The cosmetic set is crafted on printed nylon with leatherette trim. I like how both bags have zippers, I have seen some cosmetic bags that only button shut and always get worried my makeup pencils will fall out, no worries with this cosmetic bag set.
