Summer: Tomatoes, bell peppers, eggplant and zucchini

Fall and Winter: Citrus, Sweet Potatoes, and dark leafy greens like spinach

Springs: Berries, Fresh Peas, and asparagus

Prep for meals at the beginning of the week and do your shopping on weekends. This will give you more time at the store to find the best deals as well as more time in the kitchen. It is heard to start shopping or preparing a meal after a long day of work. Enjoy!

Saturday Movies- To Rent or Not to Rent

This week I got two movies from the library. It's so hard to find time to watch with all the great tv shows out now.

I was expecting Fame to be a little like my favorite show "Glee", but it was not. This movie is a remake(not that I saw the original), but I actually fell asleep half way through. The movie follows a talented group of high school dancers and singers over 4 years at the Performing Arts school. I would stick with watching GLEE on Tuesday nights. I'm Out.

Old Dogs starred John Travolta and Robin Williams. I laughed a lot and thought it was a cute movie. I would recommend if you have kids- they would enjoy this one. A great family night movie. I'm in..Enjoy!

Wedding Season is HERE

Wow it is May already and wedding season is in full swing. I have 3 weddings to attend this month and am a bridesmaid in 2 weddings. Yep- my month is going to be busy. Saturday Movies- To Rent or Not to Rent

Another blogger,Toni, commented a few weeks back on how she loved "Did you hear About the Morgans", so of course I had it on my library list.

My husband and I finally made time this week to watch it. For starters I like Hugh Grant and SJP, so I was looking forward to seeing the chemistry between them. The movie starts of in NYC, with the couple having some marriage issues. They get relocated to a small town in Wyoming as part of the witness protection program. There are a handful of funny scenes, but I thought the movie was a little drawn out. I didn't see the chemistry between HG and SJP. There are too many other great movies out there to rent in my opinion- I'm out on this one...Enjoy!
