Thursday's Wedding Tip #27

Happy Wedding Tip Day- At least tomorrow is FRIDAY and one more week til Christmas.

Wedding Tip #27- Engagement pictures are a great beginning to your wedding planning. It is best to hire your wedding photographer first and then have him/her do your photo shoot. It is a great way to get to know your photographer and let them get to know you.

I love getting my picture taken, so my photographer knew from our engagement shoot what he was in for. I love being in front of the camera. My husband is not so photogenic.

Here is a list of some great places to have your engagement shoot:
-Where you met
-Where you had your first date
-Your hometowns
-The college where you met (we didn't go up to Gainesville for ours, but I wish we did)
-A Movie Theater
-Inside/Around Vintage Cars
-A local park
- Country Club (waterfalls and rocks are great backgrounds)

Communication with your photographer is key. They will be working very closely with you both throughout your wedding process- so let them know what you like and don't like.

Next week I'll give you some great ideas what to do once you get your engagement pictures back. Enjoy!
