How to make your wedding scrapbook even better!!

How to Submit your Walgreens EasySaver rebate

If you still need to see what is FREE this month in the Walgreens EasySaver Catalog, check out my post here.

Hopefully everyone has found many of the items FREE after rebate this month. Now the fun part (actually the fun part for me is shopping for the items), getting your MONEY back.

There are 2 ways to get your rebate:
1) You can submit your rebate online. Go to www.walgreens.com and click EasySaver Catalog. You will need to create an account, but once you do it this month, you will just need to sign in next month. ( It takes about 5 minutes the first time).
-You will need your receipts and type in the RFN#'s on all your receipts you are submitting.

2) You can also submit your rebate by mail. You will need to send in your original cash register receipts with the purchase price circled and list the rebate #.

You can either get a REBATE check back or a Walgreens gift card. If you choose the Walgreens gift card- you get a 10% BONUS.

I would highly suggest choosing the Walgreens gift card. Who doesn't like FREE money!!

Remember you need to have your submission postmarked/submitted on-line by March 7th.

My Shopping Day

My first stop at the Mall was at Victoria's Secret. Check out the details here. They had a whole box left of the FREE lotions- YEA!! Hurry in and get yours.


Next I was on the hunt for some new shoes...I got this pairAnd this one...And this pair...
All for under $50. Charlotte Russe was having a great sale!!!The first two pairs were on sale for, BOGO for $10. The shoes were originally $25/each. So the first pair was $25, and the second was $10. The last pair I bought was on clearance for $9.99. I needed a new pair of black and brown. I love all my new shoes. Check out all the cute shoes at Charlotte Russe here.

After all this shopping, I had a late lunch at T.G.I. FRIDAYS with my friend and used the BOGO coupon here. What a great deal -it cost me $5 total with tax and tip!!

Walgreens 2/22-2/28- FREE Haircolor

The Zucol, Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves Styler and Revlon Creme Lip Gloss are all FREE after Rebate this month. The month is almost over- so hurry up and get your FREE products.

The Venus Spa Breeze Razor is $8.99 this week, and you get back $6 in Register Rewards. I had a $2 manufacture coupon. Cost $0.99!! I stocked up on what they had!!

The Reynolds Wrap is on sale for $0.89 with the in-ad coupon. There was a $1 off coupon a few weeks ago. You can never have enough Reynolds Wrap.

And now my best find:
The Natural Match Hair color was on clearance for $4.15 each (Reg. $9.99). I bought 2 for $8.30. There is a $5 off 2 instant value coupon in the February EasySaver Catalog. I also had 2 $2 off manufacture coupons. $8.30-$5-$4=$0.70 money maker. They only had a few colors on clearance- so check your store.

Sushi night & check out my giveaways!

My fiance surprised me with a romantic sushi dinner for Valentine's Day. We got this great Sushi for 2 set as an engagement gift. I am so happy we finally used it. He picked up Sushi from Publix and had candles out and even got Sake. We love sushi from Publix and it is very affordable. It was the best Valentine's date night. A super great week of deals

This week has been super busy. There have been great deals all around town.

Thursday night my fiance and I went to T.G.I FRIDAYS and used the BOGO FREE coupon here.
We even made HAPPY HOUR!! They had some great drink specials. We usually do not order drinks, but we both had crazy busy weeks and we figured we deserved a treat. Also to make the dinner better- they even gave us back our BOGO FREE coupon. I know I could have just printed it again, but now we saved paper. I did notice many other customers had the coupon as well. We both enjoyed our meals very much and most likely will stop back again before March 1st.

Now to my excellent Walgreens trip with my friend Sasha. My friend is very new to coupons, so I taught her a few things. Here is what I got.I first bought the Venus Spa Breeze Razor for $8.99- $2 coupon= $6.99+tax, and got back $6 in Register Rewards.

I used my $6 in register rewards to pay for my next purchase:

4 Progresso soups (I put them in the pantry already and didn't realize it until I posted the picture). The soups were 4/$5 (with in-ad coupon) and I used 2 $0.50/2 coupons= 4/$4= $1/soup.

The Scrubbing Bubbles Wipes were on sale 2/$5 and I used a $3/2 coupon. Then I will mail in the receipt and get $2 from the February EasySaver book.

My next transaction was the Gillette Fusion Power GAMER razor (I got the last one- YEA!!).

The razor was $8.99- $4 coupon= $4.99+tax, and got back $6 in register rewards.

And my last transaction:
The Revlon Creme Lip Gloss, $9.99- $2 coupon=$7.99. I also used the $6 register rewards from my last transaction=$1.99+tax!!

And now to the fun stuff...MACYS!
I have been looking for new clothes- especially some dresses. I got a great coupon in the mail last week for $10 off a $30 purchase (including sale merchandise). I love when MACY's has a sale. I ended up getting a shirt on sale for $9.99 and a black dress for $21.99. Can you believe that. The dress is by XOXO (originally $69). I got them both for under $25 with tax.

Postage is increasing- Stock up

Mark your calendars, new postal rates begin May 11, 2009. Check out the new rates here! The first class stamp is going up 2 cents, and will be 44 cents per stamp. On May 11th, the Forever stamp will go up to 44 cents as well.

* If you are a Costco member- they sell a pack of 100 Forever stamps for $41.75 (25 cents savings). Stock up now on the forever stamps. Every penny counts.

My Little Something "Blue" Wedding Garter

True Blue Bridal sent me this wedding garter and it is absolutely adorable. The picture below does not do it justice. This garter is very elegant, made with chiffon and satin. The aqua crystal complements the garter quite well and serves as my "something blue".

Quality is important to me. I often worry about the quality of products I order online. Experience has taught me that online ordering is much like gambling. Duck Fest Derby- So much fun

This is where I spent my Saturday. Looks like fun- right- well it was a blast. Duck Fest Derby is a charity event where thousands of rubber ducks race down the river. Ducks were available to be 'adopted' for $5 each. I bought a quack pack( 5 ducks for $20- see I am always finding ways to save money). The proud 'adoptive' parent of the first duck to cross the finish line won a new 2009 Scion. There were also runner-up prizes. My duck did not win (you really do not know which duck is yours- they have numbers on the bottom), but it was a great way to spend my day. I know they do Duck Fest Derby all over the world- so next time you see it in your town, make sure you check it out. Enjoy!

$3 off Revlon foundation, powder, blush, eye shadow. I think there are a few eye shadows under $5, and also use a $1 off Revlon coupon= very cheap Revlon makeup.

Wedding Dresses- It is your dress, your day, you decide

Now on to one of my favorite parts about getting married- trying on wedding dresses. Here's a couple from the Melissa Sweet Fall 2009 collection:
Check out all the cute dresses here on Brides.com. Most of these dresses are out of my price range, so I went to check out the dresses at David's Bridal, which were very reasonable.
This one is on sale for $249.99- WOW!

And how about this one for under $450. Check them both out here.There are many little wedding dress shops around, so do not settle until you find your PERFECT dress. When you think you have found THE DRESS, ask if the store can hold it for a few days and then come back with your Mother or Maid of Honor and make sure you still are in LOVE with the dress you chose. If you still love it- then you know you have found your dress.

All dresses will need some alterations- so talk to the seamstress and let them know your vision. Make sure to get a written estimate for your alterations. You will need to go in for a few fittings, usually at least three times. Hope this helps on your dress hunting adventures.

Always remember if you have a close friend or family member that will let you borrow their dress- you can save some money and have your "Something Borrowed" at the same time!!
