Who Has Time For Coupon Cutting

Many of you have asked how I have the time and patience to look for deals and cut coupons. I do have a full time job, and often consider coupons my part time job. I enjoy cutting coupons VERY MUCH.

Coupons as well as rebates have saved my family hundreds of dollars this year already. I love looking at my receipt after I leave a store to see all my savings. I bring my receipt home and my husband is always very proud. Technically, it's money in his pocket too!!

I love how flexible coupon cutting is. If I'm busy one day, they can wait. I usually cut and sort coupons at night while my husband and I are watching TV. You need to be able to multi-task, and I like seeing how much gets done. Of course I like cutting more than sorting. Sometimes I'll cut 4 or 5 Sunday paper coupon circulars at a time, and then hate having to organize them. Then I think of how much I am going to save with all these coupons and I get excited again =)

Another great reason to score all the deals in town is to donate them. I know you don't need 20 tubes of toothpaste, but I love how I feel after I give away products to needy families. Check in your town and their should be many places you can drop off.

Always remember coupons should be fun and a savings to you. If you are not getting the benefits from them, then don't cut coupons. Some of my friends used to go through the circulars and only cut the 1 or 2 coupons they needed. That's great, but in the next month, you might need that coupon for Pam cooking spray. If there is a product you know you wont use, then don't cut it, but most of the time(since coupons are usually good for a month)- you can find a great match up deal and score your product at a fraction of the retail price. Enjoy and happy coupon cutting!!
