Everybody's Fine Review

I went to see Everybody's Fine today with one of my girlfriends and I'm happy I did. I LOVED THIS MOVIE. I didn't know what to expect, as I heard some mixed reviews. I am hear to tell you, I was crying and laughing throughout the movie.

The Cast: Robert De Niro, Kate Beckinsale, Drew Barrymore, Sam Rockwell, Katherine Moennig

Frank (De Niro) just wants to spend time with his four adult children. He plans for all of them to come into town and each one backs out at the last moment. He feels the need to travel to see each of them, but his kids just seem to busy for him once he gets there. Since Frank's wife died, he feels like he doesn't know what is going on in their lives. There are many ups and downs throughout this movie, but I really was impressed at how great the movie turned out. I like how the movie had a lot of "flashbacks" as he still sees his adult children as kids. With around $10 to get into the movies, I actually walked out saying "That was worth my $10".

It is not a movie to go on a date or to take the kids, but a great mother or father-daughter movie or just with a friend. I hope you head out and check this one out- if not, make sure you rent it once it comes out...Enjoy!
