Wedding Rehearsal

Wedding rehearsals have become a big deal over the last few years. In the past, a rehearsal was needed to discuss the wedding ceremony and make sure everyone knew where they were standing. Now a days, after your rehearsal (which usually last less than 30 minutes), there is a rehearsal dinner. This rehearsal dinner is sometimes just as elegant as the wedding.

At the rehearsal is where the bride and groom thank their wedding party for helping them plan there special day, and they usually give out their wedding party gifts.

Toasts are made and champagne is flowing. I enjoy rehearsal dinners very much because you get to meet the people closest to the bride and groom. Of course everyone at your wedding means something to you (or at least something to your parents), but it is a nice way to interact before the big day. Especially if the wedding party doesn't know each other, this is the time to get acquainted. You do not need to spend a fortune, as there are many great affordable restaurants out there that will cater to your needs. Check out more on the Outback Steakhouse Rehearsal dinner I attended.

Remember to invite your out of town guests as a special thank you for coming down and spending your wedding weekend with you...Enjoy!

  1. I had a great big rehearsal dinner. Most of our guests were from out of state, so we had to accommodate them.

  2. I agree, you get to meet the bride and grooms family before hand. I was a BM in my college friends wedding, I didnt meet her parents until the rehearsal dinner.
